Kim Victoria Cattrall is an American-born actor from Canada born August 21st 1956. Her most well-known character is Samantha Jones, in the HBO Series Sex and the City. Sex and the City gave her five Emmy Award nods and received four Golden Globe Award noms. In 2002 she won the Golden Globe Award as Best Supporting Actress. Samantha Jones reprised her role in the film Sex and the City (2008) as well as Sex and the City 2 (2010). The actress is also famous for her lead roles in 1980s movies Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin and Porky's. In the movie Abbott and Costello Go to Mars she was described as being a Venusian. In the following year, after appearing for the role in Blood Alley, she won the Golden Globe Award in the category of Youngcomer with the Best.
